Your Recovery Timeline
Every stage of healing has its own rhythm. Following the right care steps at the right time is essential for graft survival and optimal growth.

FIRST 72 HOURS
During the first 72 hours, newly implanted grafts are at their most delicate stage. This period is all about protection and stability.
-
Do not touch or rub the transplanted area
-
Avoid washing your hair
-
Sleep with your head elevated at a 45° angle
-
Apply cold compress only to the forehead, never directly on grafts
-
Avoid alcohol and smoking
Goal: Protect the grafts and support secure anchoring
Critical Protection Phase

day 3 to 10
This is the stage where healing becomes visible. Scabs begin to form, and the scalp should be cleaned with maximum care.
-
Use only clinic-recommended lotion or foam
-
Wash gently with lukewarm water
-
Never scratch, rub, or pick the scabs
-
Scabs usually shed naturally within 7 to 10 days
Goal: Keep the scalp clean without disturbing the follicles.

weeks 2 to 4
Shedding of transplanted hairs, known as shock loss, is a normal and expected part of the recovery journey.
-
Some transplanted hairs may fall out
-
This does not mean the roots are lost
-
Continue following all aftercare instructions calmly
Goal: Allow follicles to transition into the growth phase.
Temporary Shedding Phase

Texture may initially be thinner or softer
-
Visible density improves over time
Goal: Support healthy, natural regrowth.
Early Growth Phase
